Borio Lab’s research reflects a particular way of reading the built environment that informs a specific way of writing or intervening in the urban. This oscillation between ‘reading’ and ‘writing’ contributes to telling, in a condensed way, a new urban story.

To this end, Borio Lab's work argues that the action of reading the city is not merely a passive approach, but rather an active process of constructing a narrative; in other words, reading is a way of acting.
